I learnt a new word today. Read the title. Anyway, this little feature describes the word. Just to share a little with you out there, I love this ride the most. I rode on it countless times until the bad older kid who was looking after this ride winked at me and asked me to go to another ride. Before that , he tried to trick me by putting a sign that the ride was temporarily paused. I supposed, he thought I might turn away but I waited until he came back. .. To cut the story short, just watch this clip with me and my sister on it.

Counting Down

I can't wait for the coming Sunday; the family will be making the big trip ie balik kampung for the Aidilfitri celebration. I can get to meet up with my other cousins - more playtime!

This Ramadhan I feel that I have attempted my very best to fast. Almost 2 weeks!!! We still have another 8 days before Syawal arrives and I intend to fast till the end of the month. Insya'Allah by next Ramadhan I will try to complete the whole month.

My Very First

Alhamdullillah. I did it! I managed to fast the whole day today. I never thought that I could do it. But I did!

And the best part is when I get to claim my reward from my father. Now I am more determined to claim many more rewards. Apart from that, I realised that my mother did not pester me to do my homeworks, reading or even worksheets since I was too weak and could not focus on my schoolwork. Not bad, huh? And I get to slump in front of the TV. I will definitely try again tomorrow, insya'Allah.

Hey, come to think of it, I almost fasted the whole day last year. But since I was seeing stars (I'm not kidding, OK?) my parents were quite lenient to me then. But I doubt this year it will happen again afterall I want *luurrrve* the rewards!!!

ps ~ Wonder whether my cousins (Hilwa, Hassan and Tufah) are getting rewards too or not?

A Gift

Yesterday I received an Al-Quran as a gift from my Ustaz. I am due to finish my Qiraati book 5 within the next 2 weeks and then will proceed to read the Al-Quran.

I thought that would be the greatest and bestest gift anyone could get from an ustaz. But the bestest of the bestest gift is when I overheard he told my mother that there would be no lesson for the following 3 days. Yippee!!!

So today, immediately from school instead of rushing to go for my Qiraati lesson, my family and I celebrated my dear sister's 3rd birthday. Happy Birthday Diana!!!

We will try our very best to outbeat each other in decorating the room. Everyday. Without fail. The squabbling over the best decorated room, I mean.

I spent almost a week at my grandparents' house last week. Naturally I skipped school since it wasn't school vacation yet. But it sure felt like it! My parents had to attend some important appointments elsewhere. And me too - my days were filled with 'play-time' appointments with my cousins. I had tonnes and tonnes of fun.

........ but nothing beats being at home with my toys again. Aahhh... home sweet home.

ps:
My mother has yet to use/exercise/strain her larynx muscles. I guess she too misses seeing our home not uncluttered with toys. Lets see how far my sisters and I can stretch her patience. Hehehe.....

I can smell it. Its almost near. Weekend is coming again. Time really flies but I love the weekend. Most likely , I will following my parents to shop for goodies for my sister's birthday on Monday and on Sunday, we are cake-shopping..

I have not been writing for a while. Been very busy doing home assignments set by my parents. I have to do a page of maths sum daily. If I did not do it, I will not be able to watch TV. *sigh* Such responsibilities for a kid. Worse still if I made mistakes in the maths sum, I will have to do another fresh page of sums. I am finding it hard to focus on the homework. Can you help me concentrate?

Birthday Cake and More

Finally, my birthday cake at home. The one in school was already eaten and shared with my friends. My friends were so happy to receive goody bags from me. I got one for myself too but I lost it due to my own negligence. I was playing and left it beside my bag but it disappeared shortly afterwards. Someone took it. :( Anyhow back to the cake story, this chocolate cake that my parents bought was so delicious. Its chocolate coated moist sponge cake with nice toppings.

Guess what I got for my present! The gameboy that I always wanted. However, presents such as this always come with strings attached. I can only play the gameboy in the presence of my father under his supervision. Also when my younger sister celebrates her birthday in July, she will share the toy with me. Also, I must get 3 times L for (lancar) for my Qiraati Book 5 before I can have a go at the game. After that the counter will restart and I have to get another 3 times L before I get another go. Also, each time I get a go at the game, it will be just for 1 hour. Despite the endless strings of conditions, being a kid, I am still extremely happy and grateful to get the game for my birthday. Syukur Alhamdulillah.

My sisters enviously stared at me playing. Its so irritating that when I am playing, my mother reminded me that my school work is still not done. How typical of a mother.

Oh by the way, the game on the gameboy is Barbie Pegasus by Mattel. The people who creates gameboy should have called game girl instead! *hmmm* . I played for 1 hour already so its now time to stop.

My Birthday

Today is my birthday. I woke up very early this morning in anticipation of the celebration planned for me in school. My parents sent the goody bags to my school yesterday to be distributed to my friends today. I accompanied my parents to collect my birthday cakes. Two in fact.

Unforgettable

The visit to the dentist which was the first in my life was truly unforgettable. I ate too much sweets and suffered from rotten tooth ( a couple of them in fact). My parents brought me to the dentist in January 2006. Here are some of the pictures of the visit. It was not as nerve-wrecking as I thought it would be.

Today I went to Macdonalds. My sister and I fought for the toy game that came along with our happy meal. We are not so happy that we have to share the toy.

Its a silly toy in the form of a miniature white board and a lousy marker pen attached to it. I cried when I saw my father drew a picture of me on the drawing board.

It was a splitting image of me except that the teeth in the picture were very long. Extremely long ... thats why I cried... but i laughed afterwards at myself for being silly.

My Birthday Wish:
An all-expenses paid for a family of 5 to Hong Kong Disneyland for 1 solid week. Why 5 you wonder? Because:
1) I am underaged and I need my parents around,
2) My 2 other sisters have no one to look after them if my parents were to accompany me and thus (sigh...) leaving me no choice but to let them tag along,
3) My parents need extra (and constant) reminder on how to be a child once again. They fail badly in this department (deprived childhood, you think?)
So anyone willing to sponsor us? ..... any kind-hearted soul? ..... any mysterious philanthropist (huh?) ..... anyone?

We were merely trying as we are staunch believers that things like this deserve to be seen by many others. That is the main reason we never took them home.
